Each of the 16 directions in Vastu Shastra influences a distinct part of life. These include the eight sub-directions, the primary cardinal directions (North, South, East, and West), and the intercardinal directions (Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, and Southwest).

The five elements in Vastu Shastra are earth, water, fire, air, and space, influencing energy flow and harmony in spaces.
